She won the Best Indigenous Actress of the Year and was nominated for Best Supporting Actress of the Year at the City People Entertainment Awards in 2016.
She won Best Gallywood Actress and Best Philathropist at the 3G Awards in New York in 2018. She won the 2019 Best Actor Female indigenous at the ZAFAA Global Award which was presented by the African Film Academy Awards.
Early Life And Education
Unlike most superstars who grow in the city or a major urban center, this lady was raised in Akyem Swedru, a city found in the eastern region of Ghana in Birim South District.
Emelia Brobbey was born and grew up in Akyem Swedru.
She completed Akyem Swedru Secondary School and continued to Presbyterian Teacher’s Training College. She also holds a diploma in Journalism, a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and an ICM certificate in Broadcast Journalism.
FAMILY:
She was born to Selina Amponsah of Akim Swedru (mother) and Mr. Samuel P. Brobbey (father).
Emelia Brobbey and husband got married in 2010, and after two years together they divorced. She went on to elaborate further that both parties signed the divorce documents and had since moved on. Emilia and Dr Kofi Adu Boateng have one child together.
Emilia Brobbey marriage to Dr. Boateng Before marrying Emelia, Dr. Kofi Adu Boateng was living a cool life and was not a popular person. He is the founder of End Point Homeopathic clinic, a health center which is believed to have been financed by his first wife, Maame Aba. It wasn’t until Emelia Brobbey married Dr. Boateng that his early life was exposed.
