The final funeral rites of late Black Stars midfielder Christian Atsu are currently ongoing at the forecourt of the State House in Accra.
Numerous dignitaries have stormed the venue to pay their last respects to the former Ghana international.
Big names spotted at the event so far include President Nana Akufo-Addo, former President John Dramani Mahama, Assin Central Member of Parliament, Honourable Kennedy Agyapong, Ayawaso West Wuogon Member of Parliament, Lydia Alhassan and Honourable Kofi Adams, Member of Parliament for Buem
Other former Black Star players at the venue include Sulley Muntari John Painstil, Prince Tagoe, Samuel Osei Kuffour aka Tugah, Black Stars coach Chris Hughton, Michael Essien’s wife Akosua Puni, Togolese footballer Emmanuel Adebayor Sheyi and many others.
