Livingstone Etse Satekla, popularly known as Stonebwoy and his wife, Dr Louisa have been enstooled as chiefs in the Western Region of Ghana.
Leaders in Awutu Boko Kope In Takoradi enstooled the pair after they provided a new water source for the community.
On Wednesday, June 14th 2023, the dancehall star through his foundation, the Livingstone Foundation, provided boreholes for 4 communities in the Western Region of Ghana.
Stonebwoy commissioned four mechanised boreholes in four mainly farming communities in the Shama district – Antiamoah, Beposo Nkran, Daboase Junction, and Borkor Awuku Kope.
The communities are experiencing water challenges due to the pollution of the River Pra via galamsey activities.
Via the benevolence of Stonebwoy, these four communities can now boast of a borehole to serve as source of water.
As a token of appreciation, leaders in Awutu Boko Kope offered Stonebwoy a goat as well as crowned him a chief.
